Corrections
A site about numbers has to fix wrong numbers in the open. This page explains how to report an error, what happens to it and where the record is kept.
What counts as an error
- A sum that does not come out as stated, in a guide or in a calculator.
- A formula written incorrectly or applied to the wrong odds format.
- A section or regulation number that does not match the official text.
- A description of a rule that the law no longer supports because it was amended.
- Wording that reads as encouragement to gamble. That is an error under the editorial policy too.
How to report one
Use the channel on the contact page. Three things make a report quick to check: the page address, the exact sentence or the calculator inputs, and the source or working that shows the right answer.
What happens next
- The claim is compared with the primary source, or the sum is recomputed.
- If the page is wrong, it is edited and its "last updated" date changes.
- A correction that alters a figure, a formula or a legal statement is added to the log below, with the date and a one-line description.
- Spelling and layout fixes are made without a log entry.
No turnaround time is promised. If a legal point cannot be settled from an official text, the sentence is removed instead of being left in doubt.

Changes in the law
The Gambling Control Act, 2025 and the 2026 regulations are recent, and details may be amended or clarified by the regulator. An update that follows a change in the law is not an error, but it is still dated on the page. For anything that affects a decision, read the current official text on the regulator's site, gra.go.ke.
